omesticity turned divine, Sonya's inspiration derives from a love of working with people and reinventing the ordinary into something extraordinary. Recently she has designed a table for the "Dining By Design" Elle Décor/Tatinger's fundraiser for the Design Institute Foundation Fighting Aids, taught art courses to homeless women, written innovative art projects for a pre-teen craft book that will be published in Spring of 2005, led cultural tours in Paris, designed character costumes for television commercials and a feature film called Guinivere. Sonya has appeared as a regular guest on television shows such as Soaptalk , on the Soapnetwork, Smart Solutions on HGTV, and World At Your Table on the Fine Living Network. Her latest on-air accomplishment was being one of three finalists in the TODAY Show's search for it's Domestic Diva on NBC.

Sonya's roots in aesthetic and culinary delights reach deep into the cultural depths of Thailand and Jordan . Growing up in a household of hybrid Eastern influences transplanted to Monterey , California , early evidence of this diva simmered in spicy curries and the aroma of roasting kebabs. These influences, inflected with the culinary subtleties gleaned from many sojourns in the French and Belgian countryside, developed a love of hosting garden luncheons and elegant dinner parties for friends and family.

Single and vivacious, this Diva is a twenty-eight year old domestic sorceress! What Sonya has is a lifetime of experience in creating beautiful living spaces and balanced personal surroundings. From adorning the body, to draping the window, her designs reflect an artistic awareness of the playful and the sophisticated within.

Whether it's creating whimsical children's furniture, arranging exotic floral centerpieces, or fashioning outrageous Halloween costumes, the work of this Diva captivates the eye and stirs the imagination. As the host, the carpenter or the chef, what Sonya does is all about energy, panache and an explosion of color. With her motto being creativity springs eternal from the fertile mind; creativity is not far behind where she treks.
